FamilySearch Find Of The Day: Carl Gustav Märten's Petition For Naturalization

I stumbled upon these records a few years ago, when I originally ordered copies of the naturalization records for Langlade County, Wisconsin. With the new addition of the new FamilySearch database, "Wisconsin, County Naturalization Records, 1807-1992", I've been able to get higher-quality digitized images of my family's naturalization records. Today's find is the Petition for Naturalization documents for my 3rd-great-grandfather, Carl Gustav Märten. Reviewing the documents today, I realize there may be some information I I might have overlooked; especially his place of birth. Here is an extract of this record:

According to an acquaintance I have (a possible cousin?), George H. Cheatham may have had a brother named William Cheatham, who in turn had a son named Thomas R. Cheatham, who was "adopted 11 days after his birth by Veazey Ferrill". Apparently there exists a will that mentions George and William, but I have yet to receive any copies or find any that match it for myself.
